Catharine Cooper is the principal of cooper design.

She studied at Art Center School of Design and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Laguna College of Art & Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, from the University of California, San Diego and a Certificate from the Professional Screenwriter's Program at UCLA. This education, combined with a background in international marketing, provides Catharine with a unique perspective in both creative strategizing and design implementation.

As Creative Lead, she has managed projects for clients such as MAZDA, Santa Fe Pacific Gold Corporation, Allergan Herbert, Koll Construction, Site Selection Network, and Analytical Management Solutions.

Catharine handles media relations for WiFi Rail, Network Technologies International, and Binary Systems. The former chair for the City of Laguna Beach Open Space Committee, and Trustee at the Laguna College of Art & Design, she is currently a Director of The Grand Canyon River Runners Association, a member of the Laguna Canyon Conservancy, and Vice President of the Laguna Beach Business Club. She writes a bi-weekly newspaper column for The Coastline Pilot, part of the Los Angeles Times family of newspapers.
